English-speaking Nursery Teacher wanted - Munich

Joki is a private childcare institution and part of Northern Europe’s largest education company AcadeMedia. An important aspect for the children is playfully learning the English language with the help of the immersion method. 

For their bilingual daycare center Joki Harlaching they are looking for a native English speaking - Nursery Teacher (Full-time or Part-time)

The daycare center Joki Harlaching, has 61 children from the age of 6 months until they start school are cared for in three nursery groups and one kindergarten group. The facility is in the Untergiesing-Harlaching district, in a very quiet location in a green oasis directly at the Auer Mühlbach and embedded in the listed Kraemer’sche Kunstmühle.

In their beautiful, spacious garden with various play and activity areas, the children have a variety of opportunities for nature experiences, movement and play. From time to time sheep graze on the neighboring meadow. The Isar, which is within walking distance, and the nearby zoo are often explored on excursions and walks. The daycare center is centrally located and is closely connected to the districts of Harlaching, Giesing, the Au and Thalkirchen. The Candidplatz underground station is two bus stops or a 10-minute walk away, and bus line 52 stops 300 meters away.

Your profile:

• You speak English at native level (C1/C2).
• You have a qualification as nursery teacher, e.g. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Social Work or Psychology.
• You are interested in working bilingually with the immersion method.
• You speak German at intermediate level (B1/B2) or are in the process of learning German.
