Waiter Mini-job (w/m/d) DASHI an Asian Diner/Restaurant - Berlin

DASHI is seeking a food enthusiast to join their front of house team operating from their flagship site in Berlin Mitte.

The successful candidate should be friendly, outgoing, customer service-oriented, and able to handle situations on the fly. Ideally, you should already have experience in preparing all kinds of hot and cold beverages, as well as being able to work restaurant’s Point of Sale (POS) for billing guests.

Your responsibilities:

• Preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Control of the presentation and production of all drinks
• Organizing the workflow at the bar
• Ensuring the availability of the daily required stock for the bar and ordering of all required products
• Control of proper and product-specific storage
• Compliance with HACCP hygiene regulations, as well as checking cleanliness and compliance with legal guidelines
• General control and care of all technical devices at the bar
• ·Ensure that the bar is clean and tidy throughout
• Welcoming guests
• Service activities and guest care such as taking orders, entering orders into the electronic cash register system (POS), clearing away the dishes and preparing/processing bills
• Taking guests’ food and drink orders
• Providing guests with insights on the DASHI menu
• Setting up the dining room prior to service (mise en place)
• Acting as the liaison between the guests and the kitchen
• Serving dishes
• Cleaning tables after guests leave
• Check dishes, kitchen utensils and table for cleanliness
• Ensuring that stations are clean and organized for the staff’s use in compliance with hygiene standards
• Ensuring the flawless appearance of the guest room in accordance with specifications
• Creation of the daily statement
• Ensuring the ideal guest experience

Your Profile:

• You worked in a restaurant before, preferably in the bar area
• You have time to give us a hand for a few hours a month
• You can also work on weekends
• You are a team player, open-minded and flexible
• You are enthusiastic and a doer
• You are looking for a career and opportunities for advancement
• You have a high level of commitment, service orientation and social skills
• You have a valid work permit
• ROTE KARTE (red card) is required.
