Senior Graphic Designer (m/f/x)

DeliveryHero is looking for a passionate and devoted Senior Graphic Designer (f/m/d) who’s motivated to push their own boundaries to join the company’s Regional Europe Team in the incredible Hero Hub in the heart of Berlin. Working in a team of graphic, motion, and product designers, you’ll be exchanging ideas and developing concepts for the company’s regional brand.

Your Responsibilities

• You support the creative leads in the delivery of a number of regional design projects.
• You work as part of a multi-talented creative team to explore briefs and generate ideas.
• You have solid experience designing for brands and marketing, with a strong portfolio and references to show for it.
• You are a strategic and creative thinker, and you understand how to make an impact.
• You are able to present and rationalize work, build strong relationships, and have good communication with all internal stakeholders and local markets.
• You are able to work with the Brand and Content Strategists, Campaign Managers, and Marketing professionals and synthesize feedback and input from stakeholders to create structured work.
• You are an excellent communicator, who not just effectively presents their solution, but also builds trustful relationships with everyone you work with, by asking the right questions and making sure everyone has a clear understanding of the things you work together on.
• You are able to prioritize projects and proactively manage your time, deadlines, and deliverables.
• You have the experience and are able to use research insights and performance data to propose design solutions and the ability to understand business priorities.
• You are an ambassador for design culture and creative work and actively contribute to team culture and process.

Your Profile

• You have 6+ years of experience as a designer/art director at a branding agency, studio or in-house brand team.
• You have an Interest in mentoring more junior designers to help elevate their work, as well as coaching and working with the local design teams to share knowledge and best practices.
• You are strong at conceptual thinking, and able to analyze design problems and deliver fresh solutions.
• You have strong organizational skills, most importantly file management, and a methodical workflow.
• You have a broad awareness of branding, design, and technology trends.
• You have excellent typographic and layout skills.
• You are proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch & Figma. Any motion graphics, illustration, photography, web design or prototyping skills are a plus.
• You have excellent language skills and speak English fluently.
