An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, motivated individual to fulfill the role of a Performance Engineer โ€“ Defence Future Programmes (f/m/d), working within the Rolls-Royce Deutschland in Dahlewitz near Berlin. In all areas this role involves working with a range of key business stakeholders to support the delivery of key programme milestones thus enabling the delivery of the company’s Defence strategy for the next 50 years.

Your Responsibilities
  • own the definition of the product cycle,
  • provide prediction and analysis of product attributes at the whole system/platform level,
  • gather, manage and disseminate requirements from/to a range of internal and external customers,
  • define and manage system and product interfaces,
  • provide insight into product/aircraft interaction.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will need to:
  • have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or regional equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience,
  • have strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and have an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts including manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition,
  • be able to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and making balanced decisions,
  • ideally have knowledge and experience of aviation product integrity / liability and certification framework,
  • have good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organisation,
  • be fluent in English in writing and speaking.
