Your Responsibilities
- Manage the technical food product development process, taken into account the nutritional, regulatory, sensory, quality and production requirements
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing external partnerships for co-development
- Manage project timelines and milestones across different departments and organisations.
- Manage and coordinate the kitchen, pilot plant and factory trials.
- Align product concepts and requirement with product portfolio strategy
- Collaborating closely with our marketing, sales, quality, and operation team.
- Using your expertise in product development to lead a co-development process in various countries when communicating with external partners
- Master’s degree or PhD in food science or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the field of product development, food processing, biochemistry or protein manufacturing technologies
- Good project management skills and able to think analytically and strategically
- Passionate about food development and the alternative meat industry and a good understanding of customer needs in the food industry
- Prepared to travel regularly to communicate with other developers and act as the Mushlabs representative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment
- Great self-organisational skills – you can multitask and are energised by working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence technical direction
- English required – Knowledge of German is a plus
