Animal keeper for dog hotel wanted (m/f/d) Four Dogs Hundehotel - Berlin

To strengthen their team, The Four Dogs Hundehotel is looking for a trained animal keeper for an animal shelter/animal boarding house or a dog lover with professional experience in an animal shelter/animal boarding house

Someone with a big heart, who will help them with the loving and expert care of their dogs as board and day guests in their dog hotel in Berlin Schöneweide.

Tasks

• Responsibility & supervision of the dogs when running, walking & in the rooms
• Compilation of harmonious dog groups as roommates and playmates
• Expert feeding, care & occupation of the dogs
• Medication as needed & as instructed
• Control, cleaning & disinfection of rooms & outlets
• Receipt & delivery of the dogs when brought & picked up by the owners
• Communication personally, by mail & telephone & arrangement of new appointments with the owners
• Advice and support for new customers during trial days

Qualifications

• Experience, fun & competence in loving & competent handling of dogs
• Professional experience as an employee in an animal shelter, animal boarding house, dog hotel or dog daycare
• Resilience, also with regard to outdoor dog care in any weather
• A sense of responsibility & independence, reliability & communication skills
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German, knowledge of English is an advantage
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and public holidays if necessary
• 40 hours a week
• driver's license
