Trainee (roofer - roof, wall and sealing technology)
You will work mostly outdoors on different construction sites. Your work will involve working on flat and pitched roofs and scaffolding. You will prepare materials for installation in the company's workshops. You will then take the trucks you have loaded with the necessary construction materials to the construction sites.

In the first year of training you will learn:
- What forms of slate, roof tiles and shingles are available and how they are processed.
- How wood joints and fixings are made.
- What work is involved in setting up and securing a construction site (e.g. setting up working and protective scaffolding, providing tools, equipment and machines).
- How to read construction drawings and installation plans.
In the 2nd year of training:
- How substructures for exterior wall cladding are made.
- How ridge tiles and ridge stones are laid in mortar and with dry elements.
- How parts of roof and wall surfaces are covered with slate, roof tiles and shingles.
- How to make wooden structures for roof trusses or truss walls.

In the subject-specific 3rd year of training:
- How to lay ridge tiles and ridge stones.
- How the surface protection of roof waterproofing is produced (e.g. by means of chipping, gravel and slab coverings).
- How to make flashings and finishes in slate, roofing board, shingle and corrugated sheet roofing.
- How to make and seal movement joints.
Requirements:
- You have a work permit
- You speak good English and Basic German Level A2 or B1
- You have a Drivers License
